SORANO

The most beautiful attractions of the village of Sorano, its historic center with the imposing walls and the entrance gates, the Orsini fortress, residence first of the Aldobrandeschi family and then of the Orsini family, and today the seat of the Museum, the Masso Leopoldino, on the opposite side of the fortress, the Church of Buonconsiglio, in the heart of the historic center. Just outside the town, however, the splendid Terme di Sorano, a thermal park immersed in the green nature of Maremma, the Città del Tufo Archaeological Park, with the mysterious Vie Cave, and finally the rock settlements of San Rocco and Vitozza.
